Corporate Sustainability Manager, you will support the implementation of Westwing’s sustainability compliance efforts, focusing on EU regulations, EUDR implementation, supplier due diligence, and general sustainability data management. Joining our team to pursue our ambitious growth strategy, you will play a key role in ensuring robust compliance across our supply chain and broader sustainability initiatives. This position is
permanent and based in
Munich.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Coordinate and ensure Westwing’s compliance with EUDR, the UK Timber Regulation and the Swiss Timber Trade Ordinance, including supplier traceability documentation and audit-ready internal reporting
- Operate and maintain the due diligence system, including osapiens and internal trackers, ensuring completeness, consistency and the correct linkage of supplier data
- Review and validate supplier documentation and due diligence outputs, leveraging AI-driven tools where possible to enhance data verification and risk assessment accuracy
- Collaborate with internal teams and the supplier compliance function to support audits, training initiatives and the continuous optimisation of compliance processes
- Monitor regulatory developments and contribute to audit preparation while gradually supporting broader sustainability compliance topics requiring traceability and data validation
YOU COME WITH
- 4-6 years of experience in sustainability, compliance, or ESG, with deep knowledge of EUDR, UKTR, Swiss Timber Ordinance, and procurement processes as a plus
- Proven experience in due diligence, supplier traceability documentation, and the validation of complex compliance data, leveraging AI tools to enhance workflows
- Expertise in compliance platforms like osapiens and project management tools like Asana, combined with an advanced ability to manage structured data in Excel
- Excellent organisational and project management skills with a meticulous attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to analyse large datasets and present findings clearly to all stakeholders
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with fluency in English and excellent communication skills to grow within the sustainability field
