Turner & Townsend are leaders in professional services to the Data Centre sector globally. Due to the continued success and expansion of our Data Centre business in Germany we are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our Data Centre team in Düsseldorf.
In this role, you will oversee the pre-construction, construction, commissioning, and close-out phases of a hyperscale, state of the art data center project for a global technology client onsite.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support planning of energy isolation activities for construction and commissioning works.
- Oversee the identification, isolation, and control of hazardous energy sources.
- Oversee electrical system installations, including substation, transformers, switchrooms, MV & LV, life safety and all electrical associated systems.
- Verify contractor compliance with approved LOTO, Permit‑to‑Work, and electrical safety procedures.
- Ensure program requirements, contract terms and conditions, and applicable regulatory requirements are followed.
- Carry out site audits and inspections to confirm alignment with safety standards and work practices.
- Manage and supervise electrical subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring that work is completed to specification and safety standards.
- Full-time on-site presence to conduct inspections and supervise construction activities.
- Ensure construction activities are in full compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Support planning and execution of high‑risk activities involving hazardous energy.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting on electrical system installations, ensuring that all work is completed as per the contract documents and specifications.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert on energy isolation, providing advice and guidance to site teams and assist with non‑standard or incident situations.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying gaps, risks, and corrective actions.
