We are currently looking for a highly proactive and detail-oriented Development Team Lead to join one of our clients' teams. If you're looking for an exciting opportunity to grow in an innovative environment, this could be the perfect fit for you.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the development team, providing guidance, support, and training to team members.

  • Oversee the entire development lifecycle for assigned work, from planning and design to implementation and deployment, based on requirements defined by the Product Owner and CTO.

  • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, CTO, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Manage team performance, including quarterly reviews, goal setting, and ongoing feedback.

  • Facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments to ensure smooth and predictable execution.

  • Identify, escalate, and help resolve delivery risks, team issues, and execution blockers while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

  • Ensure adherence to agreed development processes, best practices, and coding standards.

  • Support continuous improvement of development workflows, tools, and team effectiveness.

  • Prepare and present weekly delivery status and risk reports to the CTO.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Minimum of 5+ years of hands on software development experience in complex platforms, such as DSPs, tracking systems, attribution platforms, or performance marketing technologies is a must.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in people management roles, leading development teams and managing engineers’ performance, growth, and delivery.  Formal training in leadership and team management is a must.

  • Proven experience managing senior engineers in multi system, high availability environments.

  • Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, QA, release coordination, and post release support.

  • Demonstrated experience working in organisations with clear separation between Product Ownership, Architecture, DevOps, and Development.

  • Ability to translate Product Owner requirements and CTO technical direction into structured, executable delivery plans.

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and structured delivery frameworks.

  • Experience in regulated industries, including iGaming, is a strong advantage.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long term, high trust teams.
