We’re looking for an experienced professional to develop retail channels for our construction materials across EMEA region. In this newly created role you will develop various sales channels (home centers, hardware stores and online shops) in close collaboration with local marketing teams and lead different key accounts in retail in the region.
This role can be based in any country in Europe where Sika operates, with regular travel across the region (approximately 30-40% of working time).
- Retail Channel Strategy Development: Define and implement the regional retail channel strategy in collaboration with Corporate Distribution, ensuring alignment with market trends and business goals. Drive the growth of key retail channels, including Hardware Stores, and Pure Internet Players (PIP).
- Support to Focus Countries: Provide guidance and support to priority countries and areas to enhance channel performance and address specific needs.
- Innovation and Sustainability: Integrate innovation and sustainability into the retail channel strategy to meet corporate goals and customer expectations.
- Omnichannel Approach: Develop an omnichannel strategy to improve the customer journey by seamlessly integrating online and offline experiences.
- Key Account (KA) Development: Work with the KA team to strengthen relationships and align trade channel initiatives with key account objectives.
- Sales and Profitability Monitoring: Track sales performance and profitability, ensuring targets are met while identifying areas for improvement.
