Junior Rolling Stock Test & Commissioning Engineer – Făurei, România

As a Rail Test Engineer Junior, you will support testing and troubleshooting activities on modern trainsets during the Internal Reliability Growth (IRG) and Trial Operation Test (TOT) phases, conducted prior to train acceptance.

You will work closely with senior engineers and be involved in hands-on activities such as functional, endurance, degraded mode, and burn-in testing. These tests simulate real operating conditions to validate system performance, reliability, and robustness.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting test execution on train systems and subsystems
Assisting in troubleshooting and basic failure investigations
Recording and reporting test results, issues, and deviations
Following test procedures and technical instructions
Using basic measurement tools (e.g. multimeter)
Ensuring compliance with safety (EHS) and operational rules
Collaborating with international teams and supporting continuous improvement activities
The role is mainly based in Făurei, Romania, with occasional travel to other European countries for training or project support.
