Main responsibilities
Managing an end-to-end Consumer and shopper engagement journey for the German business, responsible for the category growth teams including Brand management, CMI, Digital, Media, Innovation, Consumer/HCP and Shopper activation overall. For global brands in cooperation with the global brand teams and for local brands with a total end-2-end approach.
- Owner of the portfolio strategy (together with local GM and global brand teams), managing resources to deliver above market growth for local brands and in alignment with global brand GMs for global brands. Encourage/ foster the development of a challenge mindset within the category growth teams to drive innovation and profitable market share growth within the respective country.
- Continuously identify future skill sets and mindsets required to win today and in the future.
- Innovation pipeline planning for local brands, in collaboration with global brand teams and global brand GMs(responsible) for Global Brands
- Member of German Leadership Team representing Marketing in Germany and to help drive company culture, strengthen values, and assist with further alignment with the global Opella business model.
- Modelling annual execution, promotion and launch plans
- Challenge the status quo from marketing and innovation perspective
- Strong Collaboration with Sales Force, digital/e-commerce, cross functional teams (medical, regulatory…) and global teams
- Lead, evaluate and ensure implementation country strategic Growth plan in order to ensure a successful end-to-end approach at the POS
- Focus on the achievement of above market growth & sales / profitability objectives.
- Lead digital and media teams to design and execute digital/media plans harmonizing the category inputs
- Ensure best in class collaboration with global GMs - responsible for Global Brands
People Management Mindset
- Develop and foster a culture of "can do" and challenger mindset with strong ownership and responsibility and focus on sustainability and digital savvyness
- Lead the Marketing teams, coach, challenge, monitor and evaluate the team performance to ensure a highly energized and motivated team.
About you
Education and professional Experience
- Business or scientific background, Bachelor degree, MBA is a plus
- Minimum +12 years’ experience in Marketing (global/local), t/o some years experience in leading teams. Sales experience is a plus.
- Current or previous experience in Consumer Healthcare or FMCG companies (ideally b2b) with proven track record in marketing positions
- International experience
