For our location in Darmstadt, Germany, we are looking for a Mainframe Quality Engineer/Specialist* for Natural & Adabas for z/OS.

If you are passionate about quality assurance, are familiar with the IBM Z system and have several years of experience with IBM Z, this role would be the opportunity for you.

Essential Functions

•  Cross-product quality assurance in the IBM Z area for our Adabas & Natural products, with the focus on installation and acceptance tests
• Be responsible for release and delivery of these products
• Develop and automate test cases 
• Monitor and maintain our test environment
• Track and analyze errors in coordination with the development departments
• Assist our support department for installation questions

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience as Quality Engineer/Specialist with expertise in the IBM Z system
• Programming experience to maintain and continue developing our testing tools
• Good knowledge of JCL
• Knowledge of additional IBM Z products, e.g. CICS, Db2 or  VSAM, is helpful
• Adabas/Natural experience would complete your profile
• Openness to new technologies and methods
• Self-motivated, self-developing and learning mindset
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Ability to work in a diverse and geographically distributed team
