Manage incoming 4PL tenders and inquiries, including analysis of requirements and shipment structures to evaluate fit with the Rhenus 4PL service portfolio and strategic direction
Prepare and conduct customer meetings and workshops to assess requirements and analyze the current supply‑chain setup; present Rhenus 4PL capabilities, solutions, and concepts to internal stakeholders and customers
Develop tailored logistics concepts, commercial proposals, and contractual documents in close collaboration with Finance, Legal, IT, and Senior Management
Lead customer implementation projects, ensuring smooth execution of all project phases while maintaining close communication with internal and external stakeholders; ensure alignment on requirements, progress, necessary resources, and service delivery
Support Operational Account Management during the post‑implementation hyper‑care phase and contribute to ongoing continuous improvement initiatives
What You Bring:
BA/BS degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
2–5 years of relevant experience in 4PL, control tower operations, and/or freight forwarding, including managing complex operational and commercial challenges
Strong project management skills, ideally demonstrated within logistics or supply chain management; ability to multi‑task and re‑prioritize in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in German is preferred, and additional languages are an advantage
High degree of ownership, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently
Customer‑focused mindset, with the ability to anticipate and understand customer needs and expectations
