Job Responsibilities:
Magna Mirrors is looking for a Global lead for the digital transformation of manufacturing through the integration of Industry 4.0 and IoT technologies across 22 sites (Americas, Europe, APAC). The Industry 4.0 & IoT Expert will be responsible for strategy, architecture, and hands-on implementation of advanced automation, connectivity, analytics, and cybersecurity, enabling Smart Factory outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead digital transformation initiatives spanning discrete manufacturing environments, with a focus on integrating Industry 4.0 and IIoT technologies.
Establish and coordinate Divisional Experts, standard playbooks, and best-practice sharing across multi-site, multi-time-zone operations.
Ensure alignment with divisional goals, corporate architecture standards, and compliance with regional data privacy requirements.
Construction of the digital transformation roadmap and the ongoing follow-up of its execution. This includes defining key milestones, tracking progress against strategic objectives, and ensuring that roadmap initiatives are adapted as needed to meet evolving business and technology requirements.

Cost Savings, Return on Investment (ROI)
Promote and support Division to implement Digital Twin models for manufacturing and logistics assets, enabling real-time monitoring, simulation, and predictive analytics to support operational excellence and continuous improvement. Support Smart Factory initiatives.
Architecture & Connectivity: Define and implement reference architectures spanning edge/OT, connectivity, data, and cloud, leveraging OPC UA, MQTT, and Unified Namespace concepts.
Standardize integration of shop-floor assets (PLCs, robots, sensors) and enterprise systems (MES/MOM, SCADA, historians).
Deploy secure industrial edge gateways and manage device lifecycle, including provisioning, configuration, and firmware updates
