We are Kaizen Gaming

Kaizen Gaming, the team powering Betano, is one of the biggest GameTech companies in the world, operating in 20 markets. We always aim to leverage cutting-edge technology, providing the best experience to our millions of customers who trust us for their entertainment.

We are a diverse team of more than 2.700 Kaizeners, from 40+ nationalities spreading across 3 continents.

Our #oneteam is proud to be among the Best Workplaces in Europe and certified Great Place to Work across our offices. Here, there’ll be no average day for you. Ready to Press Play on Potential?

Let’s start with the role:

As an Automation Executive, you will play a key role in identifying, shaping, and supporting automation initiatives that improve the way our business operates. Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and our Automation team, you will help transform manual, repetitive, and high-volume operational processes into scalable, value-driven automated solutions.

You will join Kaizen Gaming’s growing Automation Center of Excellence, gaining exposure across multiple business functions while collaborating closely with Product Owners, Automation Engineers, and operational teams. This is an exciting early-career opportunity for someone who enjoys structured problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and turning business challenges into practical improvement initiatives, with a clear development path toward a Product Owner role.

As an Automation Executive, you will:
  • Collaborate with internal business stakeholders to understand operational pain points, manual workflows, and repetitive tasks that could be improved through automation;
  • Identify, assess, and document automation opportunities by evaluating business impact, feasibility, and expected operational value;
  • Translate business needs into clear and structured functional requirements, including user stories, process flows, assumptions, and acceptance criteria;
  • Act as the key liaison between business teams and the Automation team, ensuring alignment, requirement clarity, and efficient communication throughout each initiative;
  • Support backlog refinement, prioritization discussions, and automation planning sessions to ensure focus on high-impact opportunities;
  • Follow up on ongoing automation initiatives, track delivery progress, resolve open points, and maintain stakeholder visibility;
  • Collaborate closely with Automation Engineers, Product Owners, and technical teams to clarify requirements and support solution design discussions;
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings, team standups, handovers, and internal syncs to ensure smooth project execution;
  • Contribute to process mapping, workflow analysis, and documentation of current-state versus future-state operational models;
  • Support the Automation team in fostering a stronger automation-first mindset across the organization by challenging low-value or non-viable  requests early in the intake process;
  • Assist in defining project risks, milestones, and success metrics for automation initiatives;
  • Continuously monitor process performance, business feedback, and emerging improvement opportunities to support scalable automation delivery.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field;
  • 0–2 years of professional experience in Business Analysis, Process Improvement, Operations, Consulting, Digital Transformation, or a similar environment;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to ask the right questions and navigate ambiguity;
  • Analytical and structured thinking, with the ability to break down business processes into clear, actionable components;
  • Ability to document requirements in a concise, organized, and business-friendly manner;
  • Basic understanding of business operations, workflows, and process dependencies;
  • Strong ownership mindset, reliability in follow-ups, and attention to detail;
  • Curiosity about automation, process optimization, and solving operational inefficiencies;
  • Exposure to Agile or Scrum ways of working will be considered a plus;
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, BPMN/process mapping tools, Excel, or SQL basics will be considered an asset;
  • Understanding of automation concepts such as RPA, APIs, workflows, or digital transformation initiatives is considered a strong plus.
