This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, financial systems, and regulatory compliance, focusing on building and scaling a trust accounting solution for a leading SaaS platform in the vacation rental industry. You will be responsible for defining the vision and roadmap for accounting-related product capabilities that ensure both compliance and exceptional usability for property managers and accounting professionals. Working closely with engineering, design, legal, and accounting experts, you will translate complex regulatory and financial requirements into intuitive, scalable product solutions. The role requires deep customer empathy, particularly in understanding operational pain points in financial workflows. You will also play a key role in shaping reporting and insights capabilities that support audit readiness and financial transparency. This is a high-impact position where your work directly influences trust, compliance, and financial operations at scale.
Accountabilities:
- Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for trust accounting solutions aligned with company strategy and regulatory requirements
- Conduct in-depth customer research to understand the needs of property managers and accountants, translating insights into product requirements
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to design intuitive, user-friendly financial workflows
- Partner with legal and accounting experts to ensure compliance with financial regulations while maintaining usability
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with business, compliance, and customer needs
- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, including discovery, design, development, testing, and launch
- Define success metrics and analyze product performance to ensure usability, compliance, and operational impact
- Lead the development of reporting, dashboards, and financial insights to support auditability and user decision-making
- 6+ years of product management experience, ideally with a focus on accounting or financial software systems
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional product initiatives from concept to launch
- Strong understanding of financial operations, accounting systems, and compliance requirements (US experience preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to translate customer insights and regulatory needs into scalable product solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data for decision-making
- Experience working closely with engineering, design, legal, and domain experts
- Ability to manage complex product strategies and deliver high-impact outcomes
