The role offers the opportunity to operate in a complex, regulated environment where engineering excellence directly impacts security and performance. You will collaborate closely with cloud, security, and product teams to deliver resilient and auditable connectivity. With a strong emphasis on automation, CI/CD pipelines, and observability, this position is ideal for someone who thrives on improving systems through smart, scalable solutions.
Accountabilities:

- Develop and manage Network-as-Code solutions using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Python
- Build and operate CI/CD pipelines for network changes, ensuring automation, validation, and rollback capabilities
- Manage firewall systems, including lifecycle automation, rule validation, and optimization
- Ensure secure and reliable connectivity between cloud platforms and internal infrastructure
- Implement security best practices such as segmentation, Zero Trust, and perimeter protection
- Monitor network performance using observability tools, and lead incident response and post-incident analysis
- Support compliance, audit readiness, and change management processes in regulated environments
- Collaborate cross-functionally with cloud, security, and product teams to align infrastructure with business needs
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in enterprise networking across data center, on-premises, and edge environments
- Strong expertise in automation and Network-as-Code using Terraform, Ansible, Python, or similar tools
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes, including testing and rollback strategies
- Solid knowledge of firewall technologies (e.g., FortiGate, Palo Alto) and rule lifecycle management
- Understanding of routing, interconnectivity, and cloud networking concepts
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as Zero Trust, network segmentation, and access control
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and network observability tools (e.g., NetFlow)
- Ability to work in regulated environments with compliance and audit requirements
- Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus
Benefits:
- Competitive compensation package and flexible contract options
- Fully remote work environment within Europe or the UK
- Strong focus on automation and modern engineering practices
- Opportunities for continuous learning, certifications, and career growth
- Collaborative, cross-functional team environment
- Exposure to complex, large-scale infrastructure projects
- Supportive culture that values innovation, ownership, and technical excellence
