As Senior Accountant and Team Lead, you play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and high‑quality accounting processes across our Finnish entities. Â

Acting as a trusted partner to the Chief Accountant, you will combine hands‑on technical accounting expertise with people leadership and continuous improvement. Working closely with finance colleagues and business stakeholders, you will help drive consistency, efficiency, and transparency across all finance processes.Â

**What you’ll do **
Â
**Senior Accounting & Entity Ownership **

Take full end‑to‑end accounting responsibility for one Finnish legal entityÂ
-
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IRFS) and Group policiesÂ
-
Prepare and coordinate statutory financial statementsÂ
-
Act as key contact person for internal and external auditsÂ
-
Coordinate and review transfer pricing documentation in cooperation with Tax and Group teamsÂ
-
Identify and resolve accounting issues, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and data integrityÂ
Â
**Team Leadership – Account Payable & Accounts Receivable (AP & AR) **

Provide functional leadership and daily support to AP and AR accountants across all Finnish entitiesÂ

Guide the team on accounting, system, and process‑related mattersÂ
-
Oversee AP and AR processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and complianceÂ
-
Monitor aged balances and drive resolution of open and overdue itemsÂ
-
Regularly review AP/AR ageing and overall ledger qualityÂ
-
Act as escalation point for complex AP/AR issues and cross‑functional topicsÂ
Â
**Controls, Reconciliations & Quality **

Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations hands‑onÂ
-
Ensure reconciliation quality, completeness, and timely completionÂ
-
Own the accuracy and timeliness of Internal Controls reportingÂ
• Identify risks, gaps, and areas for improvement within finance processesÂ
Â
**Process Improvement & Development **

Proactively identify opportunities to improve accounting and AP–AR processesÂ
• Initiate and support process improvements and standardisationÂ
• Participate in finance projects, system changes, and automation initiativesÂ

Promote a continuous improvement mindset within the teamÂ
Â
**Collaboration & Business Partnership **

Act as a reliable and proactive partner to the Chief AccountantÂ

Support finance initiatives and change activitiesÂ

Work closely with business stakeholders to provide professional, solution‑oriented supportÂ

**About you **
Â
Experience & SkillsÂ
Qualified accountant with 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in an international environmentÂ
Strong knowledge of IFRS, local tax regulations, and statutory reportingÂ
Experience in audits and financial statement preparationÂ
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems; SAP experience is an advantageÂ
Fluency in both Finnish and English (Spoken & Written)Â
