JOB DESCRIPTION
The Biostatistics Unit at the Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) provides a full range of statistical services to IGTP campus researchers and external public and private organisations. We support researchers throughout the entire research process, from study design and planning to data analysis and interpretation of results. Our mission is to improve the quality and rigour of biomedical research by providing expert biostatistical guidance. Our team consists of five highly qualified statisticians and mathematicians with extensive experience in health research. We are looking for a motivated and eager junior biostatistician with some experience or strong academic training to join our team.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
The selected candidate will be responsible for programming electronic case report forms, managing clinical study data, performing statistical analyses, and drafting reports, all under the supervision of a senior biostatistician.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and/or Statistics.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience with the statistical software R.
- Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to team work.
- Experience in health research will be valued.
- A Master's degree in Biostatistics or Data Science will be considered an asset.
