JOB DESCRIPTION
The IGTP is seeking a Laboratory Technician to carry out tasks associated with the Biobank Fluid Node.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collecting and registering biological samples and associated data according to researchers’ requests and Biobank needs.
- Performing specific technical procedures of the Fluid Node: obtaining and fractionating serum, plasma, cells, and other biological samples.
- Performing and collaborating in Biobank procedures: preparation, processing, preservation, and distribution of samples.
- Assisting in the management of sample and service requests.
- Maintenance and quality control of laboratory equipment and materials.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE
- Holding a Higher Technician degree in Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory or a similar qualification.
- Demonstrated intermediate level of English.
- Proven previous experience in handling human samples.
- Willingness to work in the area of document management.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Immediate availability.
- Previous experience in processing blood samples and other derivatives will be an asset.
- Previous experience with databases, records, and information management software will be an asset.
- Previous experience in handling frozen samples will be an asset.
- Previous experience in biobanking and/or research support services will be an asset.
WHAT WE OFFER
- 6 months contract
- Date of incorporation: estimated start date: March 2026
- Gross annual remuneration inherent to the square objected to this call, will be fixed based on the experience provided and the skills of the candidate, distributed in 12 payments.

- 23 days holiday and 5 days for personal matters + 2 days for Easter + 2 days for Christmas.
