JOB DESCRIPTION
The Respiratory and Immune Repair (REPAIR Lab) group seeks for a senior research technician with strong expertise in NGS and genomics to conduct laboratory experiments and data collection, participating in specialized research experiments, processing and analysing tissues and data, prepare reports, and provide technical expertise to the team members. Besides, the person will participate in research meetings and discussions, and contribute to scientific publications and presentations.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct experiments, and organize management tasks linked to the competitive Marato project about cancer, focusing in lung cancer
- Help in the sample organization, process, and data analysis obtained during the project: blood, biopsies or paraffin sections .
- Collaborate in the training of new personnel in the team.
- To take care of grant proposals preparation, support predoctoral researchers in the manuscript preparation and in the scientific discussion.
- Take care of routine task for maintaining the lab.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE
- University degree in life sciences or related fields.
- Excellent organization
- Fluent in English.
- Strong experience in molecular biology and NGS technologies
- Computational skills (Office, content management systems, etc.).
- Person able to work independently, take initiative and have good skills in work team
- Previous experience in quality assessment (preferably).

- Part-time job (17h/week)
- Start as soon as possible
- Gross annual remuneration inherent to the square objected to this call, will be fixed based on the experience provided and the skills of the candidate, distributed in 12 payments.
- Flexible payment (childminding vouchers + restaurant).
- 23 days holiday and 5 days for personal matters + 2 days for Easter + 2 days for Christmas.
