About the Position
We are scaling rapidly in retail, expanding our footprint across markets, categories, and channels - and that consistent growth demands someone who can turn momentum into a scalable system. As our Commercial Excellence Lead, you drive HOLY's retail growth by owning the Price-Pack-Promo architecture and executing Retail's growth levers across Market, Product and Channel. Ensure clarity, speed and execution quality through ownership of the Retail Operating System.
Responsibilities:
- Own and define HOLY’s retail commercial value logic across markets by setting clear portfolio roles and price-pack guardrails that protect margin and enable scalable growth. Translate this logic into coherent channel strategies in partnership with KAM teams, and ensure global trade term alignment across Sales.
- Define and execute Retail’s key growth levers by leading high-impact, cross-functional initiatives across Market, Product and Channel together with 1 FTE. Ensure consistency, scalability and measurable commercial impact across markets. Work closely with Sales, Marketing and FOPS to drive integrated decision-making and execution excellence.
- Own and continuously improve the Retail OS end-to-end by leading 1 FTE, ensuring clarity, prioritisation and high-quality execution across the (steering) team.
- Act as a close sparring partner to our Director Retail & Omnichannel and support strategic tasks such as Monthly All Hands and Board Meeting preparation, as well as the creation of our bi-annual sales kick-off.
About You
- Strong commercial understanding of the CPG space. Prior experience in CPG is a must, ideally in revenue growth management, commercial strategy, category management, or go-to-market.
- Excellent communicator with outstanding stakeholder management skills. Able to navigate a fast-paced organisation, manage senior stakeholders, and represent HOLY and the retail organisation to external stakeholders such as partners, advisors, or investors.
- Highly organised and structured. Experienced in running multi-stakeholder projects, operating systems, and executive communication.
- Language proficiency: Fluency in English is a must, German is a strong plus.
- Technical expertise: Experience with building reportings, slides & larger spreadsheets. SQL and Data Analytics experience preferred.

The Process
As we are experiencing rapid growth and have ambitious plans, the optimal start date for the position is today. Nonetheless, we are prepared to patiently await the arrival of the ideal candidate, recognizing that quality ultimately yields the best results.
- Getting to know you: We will have a 30 minute screening interview where we will talk to you more about HOLY and the position and see if our expectations match.
- Hiring Manager interview with Ben, our Retail Director : We will dive a bit deeper into your experience and details of the role.
- Case study & on-site interview: As soon as you have successfully completed the first interviews, you will receive a case study. In a second meeting at our office, the team will discuss your case study with you and answer questions about our workspace, the HOLY Temple.
- Reference calls: At this stage, we’d like to connect with 1–2 former colleagues or managers who have worked closely with you. These conversations help us better understand your working style and strengths from those who know you professionally.
- Interview with Matze: As a strong cultural fit is important to us, you will have a final meeting with Matze, one of our HOLY Founders. This gives both you and us the opportunity for a final check.
- Job offer and decision: If everything goes well, you will receive an offer and we are ready to embark you this journey together with you!
