About the Job
Guaranteeing reliable, high-performance and secure database operation as a platform for business-critical applications on-prem and in the cloud
Technical and disciplinary management of several employees
Responsibility for personnel and budget planning
Implementation of resource, capacity and license management
Creation and implementation of backup & recovery strategies as well as high availability & cluster concepts to ensure recovery time & recovery point objectives
Definition, implementation and monitoring of appropriate concepts for data protection and security
Collaboration with our national & international IT departments and external partners
Project planning, coordination and implementation of national & international projects
About You
Degree in computer science / business informatics or training with an IT focus
Several years of professional experience in the database environment (Oracle from 11g and/or MS SQL from 2008R2), certification desirable
Confident handling at Windows & Linux operating system level
Experience in the technical and disciplinary management of employees
Independent, responsible, structured and service-orientated way of working
Strong teamwork and communication skills as well as reliability
Ability to innovate and results-orientation
Good comprehension skills and the ability to analyse complex contexts independently
Good knowledge of German and English
