Purpose of the Role
The role will be a pivotal role in providing valuable reporting. Key functions will be:
- Leading Financial reporting activities, ensure all reports are presented timely and accurately
- Lead reporting process improvement through automation, enhanced data accuracy, and better data management.
- SPOC for all Financial reporting related and data topics, as well as on-going related implementation projects
Reporting directly to the Regional FP&A Director, it will demonstrate agility to adapt and address the (changing) existing challenges within the organization. Also financial & analytical acumen, critical-thinking skills. Able to handle multiple assignments, with a can-do attitude and to challenge the status-quo
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting and analysis:
- Lead and centralize the Reporting processes across FP&A, ensuring all financial reports are presented timely and accurately and ensuring single data principle
- Development of new or ad-hoc reports and improvement of the existing ones (identify needs, design and enhance existing)
2. Data Management & Governance:
- E2E knowledge of the Data used in all Reporting (source, links, owners,..), leveraging from new ERP and PBI/Global Datawarehouse.
- Owns and enforces regional data governance standards for commercial and financial data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability across countries and systems
- Establishes data quality controls, validation rules, and exception management processes to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Collaborate with IT in the design and maintenance of databases and data systems.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and rectify data discrepancies
3. Tool and Technology Proficiency:
- Stay updated on the latest data management and reporting tools in the market.
- Advanced knowledge of Data Modelling. Support in the development of sophisticated financial models and predictions
4. Project management:
- Lead the data and reporting requirements for any Corporate implementation of new systems, reports, tools.
- SPOC for all reporting and data related tickets with Global IT Teams
5. Collaboration and Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders understanding their needs and communicate recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence for improving existing process or gather relevant financial data and insights
Knowledge & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT or Finance
- 7 + years experience in data analysis in fast paced environments
- Knowledge of cost structures and margin analysis and full understanding of a P&L
- Advanced competences in data management, financial modelling, forecasting and reporting tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, BI software and data visualization tools
- Fluent in English (C1) is a must
