Job description

The School of Medicine is both an education-intensive and research-intensive school, embedded within a program dedicated to community service. The Mission of the School is to educate medical students, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows in accordance with the highest professional standards; to train competent and caring physicians to practice patient-centered medicine of the highest standard; and to identify and answer fundamental questions in the mechanisms, prevention, and treatment of disease, in health care delivery and in the basic biomedical sciences. The Vision of the undergraduate curriculum is to produce leaders in Medicine who will learn to apply the foundation of a broad medical education to improve health at a National and International level through patient care, research, and education.

The Medical program has been fully recognized by the European Parliament and Council on the Internal Market Information System, giving the Medical Degree equivalency across Europe, as well as has been approved by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (EDFMG) permitting graduates to take US Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) and practice in the USA.
