Responsibilities:

  • • Efficient setup and startup: As a fitter, you are responsible for independently setting up tools, machines, and their peripherals, as well as for the smooth startup of injection molding machines and other equipment, such as Arburg. • Process optimization and monitoring: You continuously optimize and monitor production processes, finishing machines, and other peripheral devices to ensure maximum efficiency and quality. • Quality control and documentation: By monitoring ongoing production and documenting process flows, you actively contribute to quality assurance. • Responsibility and participation in improvement projects: You are responsible for material provision and the required quality level, while actively participating in improvement projects and measures such as Kaizen. • Troubleshooting and team support: In the event of disruptions during the shift, you are on hand to eliminate them quickly and effectively, and support your team as needed.

Qualifications:

• Technical training and experience: Ideally, you have completed training as a process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology or a comparable technical qualification. Career changers with technical vocational training are also welcome. • Expertise and experience: You bring knowledge from the field of manufacturing/production and have experience in metal or plastic processing. In addition, you are familiar with the structure and functioning of molding and finishing machines. Required skills to be successful: • Safety awareness: You are familiar with the regulations for compliance with applicable safety requirements and conscientiously implement them. • Communication skills: You have German language skills at least at B1 level in order to communicate effectively with your team. • Lean knowledge advantageous: Experience with Lean methods is advantageous and demonstrates your willingness for continuous improvement.
