Job description
As a Manager - Sales (New Business) DACH (m/f/d) for Freshworks, you’ll be responsible and instrumental in managing our revenue growth for the Enterprise New Business in the DACH region. You will manage all aspects of the sales management process and Go to Market strategy for the sales team. This role is quota-carrying and plays an integral role in our growth plans across the globe. We are in the nurture and build mode, and with this comes a requirement for a growth mindset; the role you are hired for will develop going forward.
Your role and Responsibilities:
- Be part of the DACH 1st Line Sales Leadership Team.
- Work closely with the Senior Manager - Sales of the DACH region in scaling the high-growth region and the Leadership Team.
- Manage sales operations for the Enterprise New Business team of the DACH region.
- Establish strong working relationships with various cross-functional leadership roles and partners to ensure an aligned and effective overall go-to-market strategy.
- Implement local market plans and sales strategies to meet sales objectives.
- Provide ongoing reporting and forecasting for your territory.
- Develop actionable insights with a test and learn approach to new initiatives.
- Build relationships with decision-makers and key influencers across multiple industries.
- Be an evangelist for the company's vision and values across the board, including presenting at conferences and events.
- Lead, manage, and inspire a cross-cultural team of a range of roles.
- Act as a role model and cultural ambassador to ensure a great working environment.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard top talent, continuously providing coaching and best-in-class training and development support for your employees.
- Use resources effectively, including MRE, Business Development, Pre-Sales, Support, Project Managers, and Product Marketing Managers, to meet your sales goals.
- Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues, and products.
- Participate in team-building and company-growth activities, including strategy setting, sales training, marketing efforts, and customer care.
- Travel to customer locations in support of sales efforts when required.
