YOUR CHALLENGES
 

As a dedicated and detail-oriented Professional Payroll, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and processes of our organization within the larger framework offered by an European top player in logistics and transport. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining employee data, and supporting compliance with all relevant legal and internal regulations. You will work closely with HR, Finance, and external authorities to ensure smooth payroll operations.

What does this mean concretely:

• You will play an active role in the management and execution of all aspects of payroll, with accuracy, regulatory compliance and customer focus at its core

• You ensure error-free payroll administration and process the payroll-relevant information and Workday mutations together with the team

• You act as a central point of contact for employees, managers and other stakeholders with questions about salaries and related topics

• You send the reports to Finance monthly

• You keep an eye on the changes in law and regulations, collective labor agreement changes, etc. and apply them in the payroll administration

• You make a substantial contribution to the optimization of the payroll process. To this end, you regularly interact with other HR colleagues in Belgium

• In addition, you are flexibly deployable to support the HR team with a variety of issues that fall outside the standard range of tasks, and you contribute to smooth cooperation within the team

YOUR TALENTS

• You have completed a commercial education or a degree in HR, Finance or a related field and can count on at least 3 years of relevant payroll experience, ideally in an international environment

• You have solid knowledge of Excel and if you have experience with Workday, you will effortlessly find your way around this position

• In addition to your strong payroll skills in payroll legislation, tax, and social security regulations, you have good relational skills that enable you to be a discussion partner for all layers of the H.Essers population
