YOUR CHALLENGES
 

You will play a unique role in the team, as you will work from Germany and interact closely with the Belgian IT department of H.Essers. Your focus as a Business Analyst will be in Germany and occasionally you will engage in other projects in the broader European area. In this interesting key position you will become the main point of contact for all questions and issues regarding the local warehouse management systems. Monitoring and supporting the existing systems but also providing training and troubleshooting assistance – as needed – will be part of your responsibility. What makes your job interesting is the great variety on the one hand but also the fact that you are a liason between different stakeholders. After all, you are the bridge between the customer, the operational teams within H.Essers and the technical support team to build solutions in the in-house developed warehouse/transport management systems. In addition, you can use your creativity and analytical mind to contribute to discussions on the future direction of these applications.
 

 More specifically, what can you expect from this opportunity?

• Close collaboration with your Belgian colleagues from the IT department to analyze and improve the H.Essers warehousing and transportation systems.

• Engaging and working together with several internal and external stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.

• Lead or support the implementation of improvement projects to optimize warehousing and transportation processes.

• Monitoring and troubleshooting IT systems related to warehousing and transportation will also be an important aspect of your job.

• As a change of pace, you will team up with the IT department to provide basic infrastructure support, such as setting up new hardware and troubleshooting network issues, and provide technical support and training to end-users.

• Coordinating projects in collaboration with external parties is one of your strengths.

YOUR TALENTS

• You have a Master's degree (or equivalent by experience) in Management, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

• In addition you have minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or a related field.

• Thanks to your analytical insights, strong problem-solving mindset and outstanding communication and collaboration skills you make the difference.

• Working independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously offers you the variety you need.

• If you already have knowledge of warehousing or transportation systems and you are familiar with basic infrastructure tasks, then this will be a great asset.

• Experience in the logistics or supply chain management area is an added benefit.

• You excel in stakeholder management, effectively engaging and communicating with various stakeholders to ensure project success.
