As a ROSÉ Software QA Engineer, you will play an integral role in ensuring the quality and reliability of OSNR processes by:
- Test Design & Execution:
- Developing comprehensive and well-structured test cases based on detailed business and technical requirements.
- Preparing and executing sets of regression tests to evaluate system stability.
- Applying REST API testing methodologies and validating endpoints using tools like Calypso and Hoppscotch.
- Testing Activities:
- Performing a diverse range of testing, including:
- Manual Testing: Identifying edge-case scenarios, user experience, and error handling.
- Automated Testing: Using industry-standard tools to enhance efficiency.
- Integration Testing: Validating proper collaboration between system modules.
- Regression Testing: Ensuring new changes don't impact existing functionalities.
- Smoke Testing: Rapidly identifying critical issues in builds.
- Logging, reviewing, and analyzing test results to verify objectives are met.
- Performing a diverse range of testing, including:
- Defect Management:
- Reporting, tracking, and verifying issues or defects using advanced tools such as JIRA and Xray.
- Collaborating with developers to ensure defects are adequately resolved and prevented from recurrence.
- Cross-Team Collaboration:
- Coordinating testing efforts with other teams when necessary to ensure seamless end-to-end process validation.
- Communicating continuously with several teams inside and outside the Hub.
- Process Optimization:
- Actively participating in initiatives to improve testing workflows, procedures, and tools.
- Providing feedback to enhance automation frameworks and increase test reliability.
- Continuous Development:
- Staying up-to-date with emerging QA, automation, and industry trends (e.g., AI testing tools).
- Embracing opportunities to develop and share knowledge regarding optimal testing practices.
