Tasks

Support the R&D team with ongoing R&D projects and quality control (QC) activities

Prepare concrete and mortar mixtures and execute their characterization according to standardized tests (EN/DIN standard)

Perform technical tests – compression & flexural strength, flowability, Vicat setting time, etc.

Record, organize, and evaluate the routine laboratory results

Understand the technical and scientific background of the laboratory results

Participate in the reporting and presentation of experimental results
Requirements
-
You pursue a bachelor's/master's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, material sciences, environmental sciences, building chemistry, or a related field

You have experience or want to learn routine cement and concrete testing at a laboratory scale

You know the basics of cement and concrete European standards (EN/DIN)

You want to dive deeper into cement chemistry and topics of sustainable supplementary cementitious materials

You have a passion for structured work and proper documentation in digital formats

You work independently and keep your workplace organized

You are highly motivated in the development of sustainable construction materials
