Car as a customer Planner BELUX

As the planner for “Car as a customer” (CAAC), you will be an executive able to manage special and premium transports servicing single units (used cars, prototypes / luxury vehicles etc.). In this role, you will be involved in both operational and commercial activities.

You are based in Belgium (Ghislenghien) but require sometimes partners or clients visits over the country.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

As a CAAC Planner your main missions consist of:

• Draft and issue quotes for customers.
• Ability to manage drivers and handle unforeseen events.
• Identify and design appropriate solutions to meet customer needs.
• Ensure proactive client relationship management, both on-site and remotely.
• Manage relationships with internal and external partners, both in person and remotely.
• Create transport orders and ensure proper follow-up in the Transport Management System.
• Organize and optimize transport operations to maximize margin.
• Handle supplier and customer invoicing accurately and on time.
• Source and qualify new suppliers to support business needs.
• Analyse pricing structures and propose competitive rate strategies.
• Act as the main operational contact at Ghislenghien for special transport operations (breakdown and recovery services).

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Organized mindset, with strong interpersonal skills to combine operations and sales in order to provide suitable solutions to all our clients at all times.
• Proven experience in the Logistics sector preferably in Finished Vehicle Logistics,  automotive, or supply chain.
• Entrepreneurial and results-driven mindset, you go after the deal and focus on long-term value
• You have an analytical approach and are solution oriented
• You are dynamic and eager to consolidate what already exists and further develop it (clients + partners portfolio)
• Excellent communication skills in French and English, Dutch is a plus.
