WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

During your internship you will become acquainted with several tasks within our Crop Protection unit, giving you the chance to apply your theoretical knowledge in the daily business and gain hands-on experience. BASF xarvio Digital Farming is one of the world's leading groups in delivering digital agricultural solutions. Come and support our team as an intern for 3-6 months starting in May 2026!

• In your role, you annotate drone images for agricultural applications thereby contributing to the development of deep learning models.
• By reviewing models to refine their accuracy and effectiveness, you promote ongoing improvements.
• You are also actively involved in facilitating communication across teams, for example by preparing and giving presentations.
• Outstanding students may be offered the opportunity to extend their collaboration as a working student.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• enrolled student in the field of plant science or alternatively IT along with first agronomic knowledge
• experience in weed management is desirable
• competent handling of standard IT applications, programming knowledge is a plus
• willingness to relocate to Cologne or commit to regular commuting
• strong communicational skills in English
