WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Starting July 2026, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in our Chemical & Process Engineering unit for 3 to 6 months and become part of our Drying & Product Design team. Together, we develop innovative processes for the production of biodegradable surfactants and work on solutions to increase the efficiency and throughput of industrial production processes.

  • You will conduct preliminary trials to evaluate the solidification behavior of surfactant structures using different additives and will document as well as analyze the results.
  • Following successful pre-tests, you will further investigate suitable material systems and accompany their drying using convective dryers or contact dryers.
  • In close collaboration with our experienced laboratory team, you will operate laboratory-scale equipment (with volumes ranging from 100 mL to 5 L) and evaluate the resulting process data.
  • In addition, you will perform application tests on selected samples for the detergent industry and will synthetically prepare the required sample quantities.

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • currently enrolled in a degree program in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or a comparable field of study
  • practical experience in synthesis
  • basic knowledge of the structure and properties surfactants
  • enjoy working hands-on in the laboratory
  • excellent communication skills in German or English
