Technician Quality Control in vivo (f/m/d)

Would you like to be part of an important division of our quality organization, making sure vaccines can be brought from the factory to the patient? Are you experienced in all aspects of in vivo studies in rodents? Does “ensuring patient safety” feel like a meaningful use of your skills? Then you may be our new Technician.

Join our QC in vivo team and become an integral part of the growing Quality Control department in Martinsried/Munich!

The local QC department consists of about 70 colleagues who, together with sister departments situated in Denmark and Switzerland, form an important part of our quality organization. Together with a team of approx. 20 colleagues in the QC in vivo division, you will operate a BSL3** animal facility and release quality tested TBE and Rabies vaccine products.

Your responsibilities include:

• Execute in vivo quality control studies in mice under GMP in a BSL3** safety standard animal facility

• Organization and logistical support in maintaining the readiness of the laboratory and animal facility (e.g., material ordering and inventory, equipment maintenance and qualification)

• Support in maintaining the GMP quality standard for release of vaccine products

• Support in hosting inspections and audits

About you - Your qualifications

• Vocational training as a laboratory technician (e.g., BTA, MTA, CTA, PTA, Laborant*in) or undergraduate academic education in bio/life science

• Experience with executing animal studies in mice or rodents, preferably in biotech/pharma or related industry/organization

• Diligent and reliable working style, ability to follow SOPs, preferably experience with GLP/GMP quality standards

• Good written and spoken command of the English language; German language skills are of advantage

• Flexible and proactive working style as well as enjoying being part of a diverse and international team in a team-oriented company culture
