What you’ll work on
Batene develops next-generation battery technologies that rely on stable, scalable, and precisely controlled manufacturing processes. Our electrode and cell technologies require a deep understanding of materials, process parameters, and quality mechanisms, from laboratory scale through pilot scale.We are looking for team members who enjoy analysis, optimization, and technical development. People who systematically challenge processes, define standards, and actively shape new manufacturing steps. Your responsibilities
- Development, optimization, and stabilization of manufacturing processes for electrode and cell technologies
- Analysis of existing processes, identification of weaknesses, and derivation of improvement measures, including FMEA
- Development and implementation of new quality analyses and measurement methods
- Execution of root-cause analyses and derivation of sustainable corrective actions
- Evaluation and design of scale-up steps from laboratory to pilot scale
- Establishment of clear standards, process documentation, and work instructions
- Close collaboration with electrode development, cell testing, production, and external partners
- Support in the technical planning of new equipment and process steps
What you bring
Your profile- A university degree in process engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, physics, or a related field
- Professional experience in process development, quality analysis, or production is an advantage, ideally in the battery, chemical, or materials domain
- Curiosity, strong analytical skills, and a pronounced problem-solving mindset
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative analysis methods
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical relationships and address them in a structured manner
- A structured working style, strong sense of responsibility, and reliable documentation practices
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Good command of German and/or English
