Role Overview

AniCura is seeking an experienced Area Medical Business Partner to join our Norwegian team. In this key role, you will help strengthen clinical quality, patient safety, and associate development across multiple clinics. Acting as a strategic link between central medical priorities and execution at clinic level, you will contribute through operational leadership, coaching, and guidance for veterinary teams, while ensuring alignment with AniCura’s strategy for our Operating Unit (OU).

As an Area Medical Business Partner, you play a central role in embedding shared clinical standards, strengthening local leadership, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement that supports both medical quality and commercial results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead structured, regular clinic visits, prioritising support based on need and performance

  • Coach and mentor clinic managers and veterinary teams to elevate clinical leadership and embed continuous improvement

  • Drive the implementation of best practices and patient safety standards in line with AniCura’s medical governance framework

  • Monitor clinical performance metrics, identify trends, and translate data insights into concrete improvement plans

  • Act as an escalation point for serious clinical incidents and high‑risk client complaints, ensuring thorough follow‑up and knowledge sharing

  • Work closely with area managers and field teams to implement medical initiatives and priorities at clinic level

  • Serve as a link between local clinics and central functions, contributing to strong operational medical partnerships

  • Represent AniCura in relevant professional and regulatory forums, including responsibilities at board level

Experience

  • Veterinary qualification required

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in clinical practice

  • Formal or informal leadership training is an advantage

  • Fluent professional proficiency in Norwegian and English

  • Demonstrated competence in:

  • Talent development

  • Operational acumen and strategic collaboration

  • Stakeholder management and cross‑functional influence

Impact and Scope

This is a field‑based leadership role with high visibility and significant influence across our OU. Success will be measured through tangible improvements in patient outcomes, team engagement, and commercial performance. The role involves close collaboration with area managers, clinic managers, and veterinary teams to ensure AniCura’s medical priorities are effectively implemented and sustained.
