About the role
The Industrial Automation & Robotic Applications Department of Agile Robots is looking for a Intern (m/f/d) Project Management - Chinese Speaking, who will support the coordination, documentation, and cross-cultural communication for active automation and robotics projects at the China-Germany interface. The role is on-site and requires a minimum six-month commitment; candidates graduating in late 2026 or spring 2027 are preferred.
Your Responsibilities

Project Tracking: Maintain visibility over active projects at the China-Germany interface, monitoring status changes, dependencies, and communication gaps.

Technical Translation: Translate project-relevant documents across Chinese, German, and English, maintaining terminological consistency throughout.

Meeting Management: Prepare agendas for project meetings, write protocols, and follow up on action items.

Information Coordination: Synchronize updates across functions and sites, ensuring counterparts are current and outcomes are documented in Confluence and shared folders.

Departmental Support: Assist with day-to-day operational tasks within the department, including lab area management, weekly meeting organization, and critical-point tracking.

Technical Involvement: Contribute to selected engineering tasks, such as simulation runs, CAD work, or BOM management, depending on project phase and need.
Essential Skills

Academic Background: Master's student in international management, intercultural communication, industrial engineering, or a closely related field.

Project Management: Working understanding of project tracking, milestone management, and structured coordination processes.

Language Proficiency: Full professional proficiency in German and English as active working languages, with working knowledge of Chinese sufficient for technical document translation.

Presentation Production: Ability to structure information for slide-based communication, adapting content density, narrative logic, and layout to different meeting types and audiences.

Stakeholder Coordination: Experience managing information flow or task tracking across multiple stakeholders or organizational units.
