This position reports to:
Field Service Manager__
Key responsibilities
As Project Manager (f/m/d), you will take the lead on various service and system projects in the energy and water sector across the East Germany region. In this role, you will gather and prepare details, costs, and outcomes for proposals.
You will report to the Team Leader Service Operations and provide recommendations across different phases of customer projects to ensure successful execution within time and budget constraints, and in line with quality and safety guidelines.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Supporting and collaborating with other project managers and lead engineers during technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Assisting contract managers with claims, customer specifications, and safety standards.
Developing and implementing project schedules and budgets, as well as conducting risk assessments related to your technical discipline.
Supporting customers in resolving technical issues both remotely and on-site across the East region and beyond. Willingness to travel is a mandatory requirement.
Maintaining and improving customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service throughout all phases of the project.
Qualifications for the role
Several years of experience in project management within power plants, mining projects, or similar industrial environments, in a project and sales management capacity.
Solid knowledge of project management skills, techniques, processes, and tools, including comprehensive proficiency in SFDC, SAP, and MS Office applications.
Strong focus on safe working practices and a firm commitment to complying with all relevant workplace guidelines.
High level of self-motivation, curiosity, and a drive to engage with new technologies.
Collaborative, solution-oriented approach combined with strong written and verbal communication skills.
University degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.
Several years of professional experience in automation engineering as a planning or commissioning engineer (experience with ABB control system products is highly welcome).
Fluent German and good English language skills.
A valid driver's license is mandatory.
