Your Role and Responsibilities

The position of Marketing Specialist (m/f/d) Event Management includes the development and implementation of an overarching overall strategy for events, as well as the independent planning, execution, and further development of various types of events.

You will be primarily responsible for:

• Holistic concept development and process design for events, as well as cross-functional event consulting within ABB Germany

• Strategic development and identification of new, innovative, and sustainable event formats

• Knowledge sharing with event managers at the global level and across different country markets

• Planning, execution, and follow-up of a wide range of cross-functional events, such as anniversary celebrations, customer and flagship events, and visits from political representatives, chambers of commerce, and associations

• Deriving key messages and concepts for various target groups and formats

• Creating printed and digital accompanying materials, including graphics and text, ensuring a consistent look & feel and adherence to branding guidelines

• Regular evaluation and optimization in consultation with various stakeholders

Qualifications for the Role

• Completed university degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a comparable field

• Practical experience in event management and B2B marketing, as well as in project management, ideally in an international environment

• Native German speaker, fluent English skills

• Structured working style, strong communication skills, creativity, and initiative
