Key responsibilities
Are you ready to take ownership of complex, forward-looking energy projects? Join our Energy Industries division in Germany and play a key role in shaping innovative electrical system solutions across a wide range of applications. As the primary technical expert, you will oversee projects from conception to execution. This includes greenfield developments, such as hydrogen and Power-to-X projects, as well as service and retrofit initiatives within our installed base.
The work model for the role is: hybrid. (#LI-Hybrid)
You will be mainly accountable for:
Leading complex engineering projects from start to finish, coordinating a team of specialist engineers to deliver on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Representing the project to customers as the main technical interface, building strong relationships and ensuring a consistently high level of customer satisfaction.
Together with the project management team, you will drive project execution by defining work plans, resource requirements and technical proposals, as well as performing risk and opportunity assessments.
You will also drive technical excellence by solving complex challenges, fostering collaboration across engineering teams, sharing best practices and supporting supplier and subcontractor management
Qualifications for the role
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering or as a technical project manager, with strong expertise in most of the following areas:
HV/MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, high-power rectifiers and inverters, as well as containerized/e-house solutions
Strong intrinsic motivation, curiosity, and enthusiasm for emerging technologies
A collaborative, solution-driven mindset paired with excellent communication skills
Fluent in German and English, with strong negotiation capabilities
Willingness to travel occasionally for short business trips
