Key responsibilities

The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid

Seeking highly motivated students in conducting research activities in the area of physics-informed AI for industrial applications. The objective is to develop advanced physics-informed AI model tailored for complex thermal processes, which will support to identify the key features of process stability. Ideal candidates should have a strong foundation in thermal physics, machine learning and mathematical modeling.

• You are interested in the domain of machine learning and conventional system.
• You will work on data analytics and physics-informed machine learning (especially Neural Operator) for industrial applications.
• You will develop mainly python packages for industrial use cases.
• Close collaboration with our scientists and engineers. You will develop and validate physics-informed machine learning approach against conventional methods.
• We expect that you show above-average motivation to develop demonstrators and software prototypes and proactiveness to come up with new concepts and ideas on how to overcome possible challenges.

Qualifications for the role

• Currently enrolled in applied mathematics, physics, computer science, data science, engineering or similar knowledge from software development. 
• Sound knowledge in Python and shell scripting. Good knowledge in data analytics libraries, such as Tensorflow, Scikit-Learn, Numpy, etc. 
• Self-motivated and able to work independently. 
• Fluent English skills in writing and speaking. 
• Familiar with Linux system.
