What you´ll build

 

• Support acquisition performance tracking for acquired companies, including involvement in related strategic projects
• Support with master data compliance checks to ensure all changes are accurately reflected in relevant systems
• Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and stakeholder reporting activities
• Collaborate proactively with team members, managers, and internal stakeholders across an international environment
• Gain hands-on experience with industry-leading SAP products such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Business AI, and Signavio.

 

What you bring 

 

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
• Preferred fields of study: Business Administration, Economics, or a related field with strong academic performance
• Computer skills / Programming languages: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Language skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German
• Soft skills: Strong attention to detail and quality, Strong analytical skills, Highly results-driven with a proactive mindset, Strong team player with a collaborative approach
• Other important skills/experience: First work experience in Finance & Controlling is a plus
• Working from (Berlin or Walldorf) office is required

 

Where you belong

 

Located within Global Controlling, the Strategic Financial Planning team supports SAP’s Executive Board in achieving mid- and long-term financial ambitions through consistent financial modeling, including the financial impact of acquisitions and divestitures.

 

The team provides expertise in business case creation, portfolio evaluation, and the analysis of tactical and strategic options, making a real difference in key decision-making processes. In Mergers & Acquisitions, it offers exposure to Post-Merger Integration activities.

 

Additionally, the team tracks business plans and monitors key performance indicators to validate execution progress and the reliability of mid- and long-term forecasts. Through this work, team members directly impact SAP’s financial results, business operations, and strategic direction.

 

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
