Legal Counsel

What we’re looking for

• An experienced Legal Counsel who will build and shape our internal legal function

• A trusted advisor to leadership, working closely with the CEO and Commercial team

• Someone comfortable navigating legal topics in a government, defense and technology environment

• A pragmatic legal professional who can balance risk management with business enablement

• A strong communicator able to work with internal teams and external stakeholders

• Someone motivated to take ownership in a fast-growing, mission-driven company

The day-to-day

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, particularly with government and defense customers

• Advise leadership and teams on corporate, regulatory and contractual matters

• Work closely with the Commercial team on contracts, negotiations and strategic partnerships

• Ensure compliance with export control, regulatory frameworks and industry requirements

• Manage and coordinate external law firms and legal advisors

• Establish internal policies and processes for governance, compliance and risk management

You should apply if you

• Are a fully qualified lawyer with several years of professional experience (law firm and/or in-house)

• Have strong experience in commercial contracts and corporate legal matters

• Enjoy working independently and building structures in a growing company

• Are comfortable advising senior stakeholders and leadership teams

• Have a pragmatic mindset and translate legal complexity into practical solutions

• Are fluent in English and German (C1/C2)

Nice to haves

• Experience in defense, aerospace or government contracting environments

• Familiarity with export control, regulatory compliance or security frameworks

• Experience supporting technology companies or hardware-driven businesses

• Background working with international legal structures or cross-border transactions

• Experience coordinating external legal advisors across multiple jurisdictions
