Job description
Your Responsibilities:
- Acquire and develop public sector clients at federal, state, and municipal levels.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with public planners, consultants, and decision-makers.
- Identify and qualify public tenders, ensuring compliance with procurement laws and internal policies.
- Prepare competitive bids and proposals in collaboration with internal teams and partners.
- Advise clients on IT infrastructure, focusing on Enterprise Networking solutions (e.g., LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, network security, cloud connectivity).
- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and funding opportunities in the public sector.
- Represent the company at public sector events, trade shows, and industry forums.
- Collaborate closely with partners, distributors, and complementary manufacturers.
Your Profile:
- 10+ years of experience in public sector sales, account management, or business development.
- Strong network within the public sector, including planners, consultants, and procurement officials.
- In-depth knowledge of public procurement processes and regulations (national and EU).
- Technical understanding of Enterprise IT solutions, especially network infrastructure and cybersecurity.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel and manage complex sales cycles.
- Good negotiation and communication skills in English and German.
