- Analysis, design, development, and optimization of cloud and on-premises solutions with a focus on Amazon Web Services (AWS) for analytical systems in client projects across various industries
- Migration of existing data and analytics systems to the AWS Cloud, as well as integration into hybrid architectures
- Implementation of Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, and analytics use cases using modern AWS services, including: Amazon S3, AWS Glue / Glue Studio / Glue Data Catalog, Amazon Redshift / Redshift Serverless, Amazon Athena / AWS Lake Formation, Amazon EMR, Amazon Kinesis (Data Streams, Data Firehose), Amazon QuickSight
- Creation of Proof of Concepts and technical showcases based on current AWS technologies
- Medium-term assumption of (partial) project management, as well as conducting training and workshops on AWS Data Engineering and Cloud Architectures
What do we expect from you?
- A degree in a STEM field or a comparable qualification
- At least 2 years of practical and demonstrable experience in cloud or data engineering with AWS
- Ideally, knowledge of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code, e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or AWS CodePipeline / GitHub Actions
- Experience in deploying, processing, and visualizing data (ETL/ELT, e.g., with Glue, EMR, or QuickSight)
- Strong willingness to learn and enthusiasm for new AWS technologies
- Analytical thinking, goal-oriented work, and strong teamwork skills
- Language Skills:
- German: Minimum C1
- English: Minimum B2
