Senior Consultant Databricks Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Design and deliver data-driven IT projects on Databricks platform
• Hands-on implementation of Cloud & Data Engineering projects
• Provide best practices support for customers and synvert in Databricks area
• Stay up-to-date with the most recent features of Databricks
• Land & Expand: recognise opportunities and risks in the Cloud Data analytics area
• Demonstrate good communication and presentation skills to effectively engage and persuade customers upon initial interaction
• Coaching of practice members, contributing to the success of the Databricks cluster at synvert

What do we expect from you?

• >4 years of experience in the area of Platform / Data Engineering & consultancy
• Good knowledge and hands-on experience with Databricks Experience with hands-on implementation of the Cloud/ Data Engineering projects
• Excellent programming skills (e.g. Python, Scala, Java; object-oriented). Any other language considered a plus
• Strong technical skills in emerging data technologies, especially in Databricks
• Expertise in one of the following areas in Databricks: Unity Catalog, Data Warehousing, Performance Optimization Bachelor / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Information Management or in similar qualification
• Certifications in Databricks: e.g. Associate or Professional, or proven record of delivering projects with Databricks
• Openness to occasional travel (up to 30% of the time)
• German, English: fluent in speaking & writing
• Very good presentation and communication skills
