Your Tasks
- Design and deliver data-driven IT projects on Databricks platform
- Hands-on implementation of Cloud & Data Engineering projects
- Provide best practices support for customers and synvert in Databricks area
- Stay up-to-date with the most recent features of Databricks
- Land & Expand: recognise opportunities and risks in the Cloud Data analytics area
- Demonstrate good communication and presentation skills to effectively engage and persuade customers upon initial interaction
- Coaching of practice members, contributing to the success of the Databricks cluster at synvert
What do we expect from you?
- >4 years of experience in the area of Platform / Data Engineering & consultancy
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience with Databricks Experience with hands-on implementation of the Cloud/ Data Engineering projects
- Excellent programming skills (e.g. Python, Scala, Java; object-oriented). Any other language considered a plus
- Strong technical skills in emerging data technologies, especially in Databricks
- Expertise in one of the following areas in Databricks: Unity Catalog, Data Warehousing, Performance Optimization Bachelor / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Information Management or in similar qualification
- Certifications in Databricks: e.g. Associate or Professional, or proven record of delivering projects with Databricks
- Openness to occasional travel (up to 30% of the time)
- German, English: fluent in speaking & writing
- Very good presentation and communication skills
