We are looking for a hands-on IT Support Specialist (all genders)who ensures smooth day-to-day IT operations across the company. You will be the first point of contact for all IT-related issues and play a key role in maintaining a stable, secure, and scalable IT environment.
In this role, you will work closely with Corporate IT and Information Security to support users, maintain systems, and ensure that all IT services run efficiently in a fast-paced start-up environment.
Responsibilities
Provide 1st and 2nd level IT support for internal users (hardware, software, network issues)
Set up, configure, and maintain end-user devices (laptops, mobile devices, peripherals)
Manage user accounts, access rights, and onboarding/offboarding processes
Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365, collaboration tools, and business applications
Monitor IT systems and proactively resolve issues to ensure high availability
Assist in maintaining IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud environments)
Document IT processes, systems, and support procedures
Collaborate with IT Security to ensure compliance with internal security policies
Support basic IT security measures (e.g., endpoint protection, patch management)
Coordinate with external service providers and vendors when required
Qualifications
Completed training or degree in IT (e.g., Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or comparable qualification
Several years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or IT operations
Strong hands-on experience with Windows, Microsoft 365, and common IT systems
Basic understanding of networks, cloud services, and IT infrastructure
Structured, solution-oriented working style with a strong service mindset
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
High reliability, discretion, and sense of responsibility
Fluency in German and good English skills
German or EU citizenship required (security-related environment)
