Internship- Interior Design

Your mission

Are you a student eager to gain real-world experience in interior design? We are offering curricular and extracurricular internships, starting from this February, for the position of Interior Design Intern.

You will have the chance to work on real projects, develop your creative and technical skills, and gain valuable experience for your future career in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Location: Málaga
Working Hours: 25 hours per week, 5 days a week

Responsabilities

• Assisting the senior designers with the design and execution of ongoing design projects.⁠  ⁠

• Researching materials, furniture, décor options to propose for selection by senior designers.

• Visiting, measuring, and recording videos of the properties to design.

•⁠  Researching current style trends and creating style moodboards and style descriptions.

•⁠  ⁠Preparing the design offer, and design concept presentations aligned with the direction from senior designers.

•⁠  Design of powerpoint presentations in line with company branding.

•⁠  Requesting materials samples from providers.

•⁠  Creating floorplans and renders.

•⁠  Organisation of invoices and data input.

Your profile

•⁠  ⁠Bachelor or Master degree in Interior Design / Interior Architecture.

•⁠  ⁠Knowledge of industry materials, finishes, and brands.

•⁠  ⁠Keen interest in design trends, keeping up to date with work of other designers.

•⁠ Good understanding of Microsoft Excel, to create and edit budgets.

•⁠ Capability and willingness to learn on the job.
 •⁠ Ability to strictly adhere to timelines, and quality requirements with good organisation and a strong work ethic.

•⁠  ⁠Can accurately create a floor plan with measurements (knowledge of AutoCAD a bonus).

•⁠  ⁠Knowledge of 3D software to model furniture and spaces is required (e.g. Sketchup), ability to create a quality render a plus. (e.g.: VRay).

•⁠  ⁠Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Mac OS is required, Microsoft OS and Adobe Suite is a plus.

•⁠  ⁠Experience collaborating on design/architecture projects from start to finish is a plus.

•⁠  ⁠Fluent in English and Spanish (French is a plus).
