Senior Research Scientist Biochemistry/Biophysics with focus NMR (gn)

Your mission

• You will support our internal and customer drug discover projects by biochemical and biophysical characterization of ligand target interactions.
• You will further strengthen our NMR group by developing and applying methods for the screening and characterization of fragment-target, small molecule–target, DNA or RNA-target, biologic-target and protein-protein interactions.
• In addition, you will work with biochemical and biophysical technologies such as SPR, nanoDSF, MST, ITC and enzymatic assays like AlphaLisa, ELISA, Abs, Lumi, FI, FP, FRET and HTRF based assays.
• You will analyze and summarize your results in reports to our customers. You will discuss the reports with our customers and integrate your data in the context of our customers’ drug discovery projects.
• You will be a member of interdisciplinary teams alongside colleagues from the other disciplines. 

Your profile

• You have a PhD degree in biochemistry or biophysics.
• You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in NMR spectroscopy in a drug discovery environment.
• In addition, you have hands-on experience with SPR or enzymatic assays
• You are able to integrate biochemical/ biophysical data in the context of early drug discovery programs.
• Ideally, you have leadership experience and could take on personnel responsibility for technical assistants (m/f/d).
• Your positive, communicative and open personality helps you to understand other opinions and contributes to productive project discussions with internal and customer project teams.
• Fluent English and basic German language skills are required.
