Your mission
- You identify relevant target customers, approach them proactively, and qualitfy them through structured inbound and outbound activiites
- You conduct structured first conversations (discovery and qualification calls), analyze pain points in procurement, engineering/cost engineering, and operations/supply chain, and lay the foundation for successful multi-stage sales cycles
- You build relationships with key stakeholders in upper mid-market and enterprise companies
- You work closely with Account Executives, hand over qualified opportunities (SQLs), and jointly prepare meetings and account strategies
- You use phone, email, LinkedIn, events, trade fairs, and networking for lead generation and follow-ups
- You manage and develop your pipeline in the CRM and steer your work based on KPIs such as conversion rates and pipeline coverage
- You continuously provide feedback to Marketing, Sales, and Product teams on lead quality, messaging, and market and customer insights
- You support account expansion initiatives and follow-ups within ongoing deals
Your profile
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, a degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
- You have initial to several years of experience as an SDR/BDR/Inside Sales professional in a B2B SaaS environment
- Ideally, you have exposure to manufacturing, industrial environments, supply chain/procurement, or technically complex software solutions
- You are interested in complex business models and technical concepts
- You quickly build trust and conduct value-driven conversations
- You work in a structured and disciplined manner and take strong ownership of CRM processes
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- You are proactive, eager to learn, resilient, and enjoy working hands-on in a startup environment
- You are a team player with an entrepreneurial mindset and work closely with Account Executives toward shared sales success
- You have very good German and English skills
