As a
Bid Manager, you play a key role in winning the deals that make that impact possible. You lead large, complex bids and public tenders from start to finish. Working with Sales, Architects, Delivery, Legal, Finance, Security, and Microsoft, you turn complex customer requirements into clear, compelling, and compliant proposals. You shape bid strategies, define win themes, and ensure every submission meets the highest quality standards - on time, every time.
What you will do- Lead end‑to‑end bids for large opportunities and public/government tenders.
- Define bid strategy, win themes, and value propositions with Sales, Architects, and stakeholders.
- Develop high‑quality, compliant proposals aligned with customer requirements and scoring models.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams and manage reviews, sign‑off, and deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with legal, commercial, and security requirements.
- Translate complex solutions into clear, customer‑centric value.
- Plan and safeguard bid progress, delivering on time and on quality.
- Improve bid performance through reusable content, lessons learned, and best practices
Your profile
What is your experience should look like? - 5+ years of experience in bid management, proposal management, tender management, or complex deal orchestration.
- Experience with large enterprise tenders, preferably in IT consultancy, Microsoft ecosystem, digital transformation, or cloud/data services.
- Proven track record in winning high value opportunities or public sector tenders.
- Strong writer: able to turn complex technical input into clear, compelling narratives.
- Excellent project management skills: structured, organised, deadline driven.
- Ability to operate in high pressure, deadline sensitive environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including senior management engagement.
- Familiarity with EU and NL government procurement rules, tender portals, and compliance structures (Aanbestedingswet, ARBIT/ARVODI, open procedures).
Success Indicators (KPIs)
- Increased win rate on large tenders and strategic deals.
- On time submission of 100% of assigned bids.
- Improved proposal quality and customer feedback.
- Strong collaboration feedback from Sales, Delivery, Architects, and management.
