YOUR ROLE
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE APPLYING BOTH QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH METHODS. THROUGH TARGETED STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT AND EARLY OPPORTUNITY IDENTIFICATION, YOU PROVIDE KEY IMPULSES FOR ALLIANZ’S PRODUCT STRATEGY.
As a Senior UX Researcher (m/f/d), you will work with a team of researchers, designers, developers, agile consultants, and account managers in a hybrid work environment. You will take responsibility for planning and executing a variety of research projects – including project scoping, strategic consulting for product teams, and facilitating workshops that drive the user‑centered development process. In this role, it is essential that you bring extensive experience in core user-centered research practices and are able to communicate your insights clearly, strategically, and empathetically.
YOUR PROFILE
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES- Independently design and lead complex qualitative and quantitative research projects
- Conduct usability testing, interviews, surveys, and field studies end-to-end
- Guide junior researchers and support their development through mentoring
- Develop personas, journey maps, and frameworks to translate insights into user-centered opportunities
- Plan and facilitate strategic workshops (onsite/remote) with internal and external stakeholders
- Analyze and synthesize data across projects to inform business and design strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed research into roadmaps and product priorities
- Explore and apply emerging methods, tools, and data sources relevant to research needs
- Contribute to proposal development, including time/resource estimation and design strategy
- Align project outcomes with user needs, company goals, and regulatory standards
- Actively contribute to KXL-wide initiatives, events, and collaborations with clients and external partners
REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Skilled in project management across complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Confident in facilitating workshops and scopings
- Experienced in enabling insights-driven product decisions
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management abilities
- Able to collaborate effectively with other roles in UXI
- Strong mentoring skills and passion for capability building within research teams
- Fluency in German and full professional proficiency in English
