Security Engineer

Opportunity

ILIAS Solutions is looking for a Security Engineer with a couple years of experience in supporting and enhancing our enterprise security posture. This role blends technical expertise with governance responsibilities, including cloud security compliance, incident response, and ISMS management aligned with ISO27001 and NIST 800 series frameworks.

Your mission

• Implement and maintain security controls across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
• Monitor and respond to security alerts using Sentinel, Defender, and Fortinet tools
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation using Nessus and Mend.io
• Manage endpoint protection and privileged access via Intune and CyberArk
• Support compliance initiatives using Purview and Netwrix Auditor
• Maintain and evolve the Information Security Management System (ISMS)
• Align security practices with ISO27001 and NIST 800 series standards
• Draft and maintain security policies, procedures, and technical documentation
• Ensure cloud security compliance across Microsoft and Oracle environments
• Lead and participate in security incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and reporting
• Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct internal audits and support external audit readiness

Your capabilities

• 3 to 4 years of experience in IT security or infrastructure roles
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 E5 and Azure security tools
• Familiarity with endpoint protection, identity management, and compliance frameworks
• Experience with Linux and Windows server environments
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning and SIEM platforms
• Working knowledge of ISO27001 and NIST 800 series frameworks
• Experience managing ISMS and writing security policies and procedures
• Security certifications (e.g., SC-900, SC-200, SC-300, CISSP, ISO27001 Lead Implementer) are a plus
