Your role
As a Freelance Guest Service Agent Hospitality (all genders), you are the first point of contact for our guests. You take on the digital care of guests throughout their entire stay and, with your hospitable communication and quick resolution of challenges, ensure a memorable holiday experience. You are at the wheel of our digital reception, always keeping a cool head and making sure every day that our guests feel completely at home at Homaris.
A requirement for this position is that you are based in Ecuador, Mexico, or Peru.
Your mission
- As the first point of contact, you respond digitally via chat or by phone to the wide variety of enquiries and concerns from our guests.
- You support guests before their arrival, during check-in, throughout their stay, and after check-out, offering them advice and assistance at every stage.
- You are happy to fulfil our guests' wishes and find pragmatic solutions to any challenges that arise.
- You continuously familiarise yourself with information about our apartments in order to provide our guests with the best possible information, and you take part in training sessions to consistently uphold Homaris' quality standards.
- For complex matters, you coordinate with our Guest Service Supervisors to collaboratively find suitable approaches.
Your profile
- You have a strong service-oriented mindset and don't mind working at various times of the day and at regular intervals on weekends.
- You bring experience in customer support and/or hospitality, e.g. as a call centre agent or receptionist, and ideally hold a vocational qualification in tourism or hospitality.
- You are well organised, able to prioritise and coordinate effectively, and approach your work with a solution-oriented mindset.
- You are a strong communicator and find it easy to interact with a wide range of personalities.
- You are comfortable using software and digital solutions in your day-to-day work.
- You are fluent in English (C1), both spoken and written, and ideally also in German (B2), both spoken and written.
- You have very solid knowledge of the MS Office suite (particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) and ideally already have experience with booking platforms and the property management systems Apaleo and/or Guesty.
- You use digital tools with ease, recognise their potential, and are enthusiastic about how AI can make everyday work more efficient.
